High Intensity Outpatient / Partial Hospitalization Program

Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers comprehensive services designed to provide intensive therapeutic support in supportive environment. Located in a serene setting conducive to healing, our program caters to individuals who require intensive treatment but do not need 24-hour supervision.

Intensive Outpatient Program

An Intensive Outpatient Program, abbreviated as IOP, is a level of care that offers structured treatment while allowing for the continuance of your normal daily life. Providing treatment from a non-residential setting allows for clients to continue employment and remain in their own home while getting the treatment that they need. Groups ran each day for a duration of 3 hours, offered during the day or night to allow integration with your work and home schedule. At this level of care, each client will attend groups and an individual session with their primary therapist each week. Essentials offers Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient groups 5 days a week, Monday through Friday.

Outpatient Program

Essentials Recovery offers an outpatient program for anyone stepping down from our Intensive Outpatient Program. In our Outpatient Program, we continue to offer individual therapy, family therapy, psychological evaluations, medical doctor appointments, medication management, community integration support, and more at a less intensive schedule than standard intensive outpatient.

Alumni & Aftercare

Essentials Recovery offers a full alumni program devoted to continual, lifelong support for all of our alumni and their families. With speaker meetings and alumni events (bar-b-que’s, paintball, sporting events, beach bonfires, etc.) we encourage all alumni to participate and have fun in recovery!

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

At Essentials Recovery, we believe in a comprehensive approach to addiction treatment that includes Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) as a key component. Located in Wilmington, Delaware, our MAT program combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies to address substance use disorders effectively. We utilize medications along with counseling to address both Opiate Use Disorder (OUD) and Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD).

Continuing Your Recovery

At Essentials Recovery, we understand people want to get back to a normal routine and continue with life’s daily commitments such as work, school, and family needs. We also firmly believe returning to a structured, healthy lifestyle is pertinent to achieving long term recovery. Essentials Recovery offers both day and night time therapy and groups to accommodate any schedule. Although we strongly suggest the full completion of an inpatient or partial hospitalization program prior to attending intensive outpatient, we do realize that is not realistic for every person.

Our Mission

Essentials mission is to renew lives impacted by addiction through personalized and complete behavioral healthcare. Our main purpose is to provide services and education to the client and family that will support long lasting recovery of mind, body, and spirit.
